+ London and Me
I love London [I love you too Paris, but London was my first love...]
... been there several times in my life and maybe more.
First time there I was just only 12 yrs old girl with Mom, Dad and my little sister, and Carnaby Street was magical. We were browsing old London just like the other tourists: British Museum, Buckingham Palace, Madame Tussauds, etc, the must-seen it all done in 2 weeks visit to my uncle's house there. He was an Indonesian diplomat and live with his family for several years there. that was my first "rendang" dinner abroad. It felt and smelt like home.
The next London's visit when I was graduated from uni on 1995. It was just two of us, my Mom and I [Dad and lil sis stay at home]. We were doing European Tour [maybe more than 10 countries] with first and last stop at London. It's fun and unlike the posh diplomatic mercedez ride on previous visit, we're using tube all the times. Mind the gap everyone!!
After that, I went there on 2002, two weeks visiting my lil sister who stayed there a year with her family. Tate Modern Art Museum was my next passion. I was browsing there for hours, accompanied with my bro in law. There so much changes in London at that time: the modern London Eye ride, etc.
And the last ones was on 2003 and 2004. By this time I've found sooo many interesting facts, places and people. Not to mention shops and food. GREAT. I saw London quite differently that time.
Could I get a job that'll make me fly there once in a while? Or even better: two or three times a year? That would be GREAT!!
Wish me luck! :)
